  1. Pam...it is lovely! One question...did you use parlan on the back? and where exactly did you use it? Only on the stitchery part? Thanks. Denniele

  2. Hi Denniele
I did not use Parlan because I have never been able to find a stockist in the UK. I use a fusible vilene but only behind the stitchery pieces. When I did Leannnes Down the Garden BOM I tried to put the vilene over the whole block but did not find I could do that so went back to my old method. I would like to give Parlan a try if ever I find it it the UK.
Nice to chat to you Pam

  3. Pam..thanks for your valuable information. I ordered parlan from Australia because I was unable to find anything close here. But i am thinking I have some fusible batting that looks suspiciously close...and available at home. I may have to try that. Thanks again and your blocks look marvelous!

  9. Gorgeous work well done! I will hear in this week from the place I would like to order my kit from, so will have a lot of stitching to do to catch up once I get it (probably only after issue 2 comes out) and then from looking at the sneak peaks I have this suspicion I am going to have to start making hexies too :)
