I thought I should start before the next Vignette was out ...
I have had wonderful service from Quilt Fabric Delights for my "kit".
So today I sewed together enough to start the stitchery ... I haven't tackled the "blocks" yet!!
Then I traced on the stitchery and I am ready to go ... I have a long road trip on Wednesday so I hope to get started then!!
I loved seeing everyones posts about their progress ... keep posting!!

Good luck, you've made a good start. I don't have my goodies to start the stitchery but I have made the shoo fly blocks.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see a post on here I get so excited, I can't wait to start playing myself! I'm curious about people stitching on road trips - does that mean you actually stitch in the car? I get very motion sick and sometimes I can't even read on a bus, the car just needs to take a few quick turns and I turn funny colours, I wonder if I could stitch in a car?

ReplyDeleteHope you get lots done in the car! I can read in the car but my stitching doesn't look so good if I've done it in the car!
