Hi there, fellow Vignette stitchers and Leannes House fans. I signed up to stitch Vignette early on, but had to wait for my supplies to arrive in dribs and drabs. Last weekend I got the block pieced and traced, and have made a small start on the stitching this week. I'm loving the Cosmo threads, they are so silky to work with, beautiful!
There have been some beautiful blocks shown here so far, and like everyone else I'm really looking forward to seeing Issue Two and what the next blocks look like.
Thanks Perri for the opportunity to be a part of this journey............see you all again soon.
Nicky
Great progress Nicky! I'm still stitching ... getting closer to finishing block 1 :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching, P
Looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteyour block looks wonderful! I just heard that the people I am sourcing the fabric from have the fat quarter bundle and the threads but probably wont get the lecien basics fat quarters for another couple of months, so I am going to dive in and should be able to start by the time issue 2 comes out I think yay! Also it coincides nicely with my birthday next month, so I can get my mum to buy it as a gift double yay!
ReplyDeletePlease someone help me...I've been searching the net...how can I get a hold of this magazine? Am I too late to get supplies and join in? I am new to stitchery but have fallen head over heels in love with it!!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Nicky! It looks gorgeous! I'm a bit stuck on mine. I have done the birdie block and about a third of the border bit. I should be cleaning at the moment and not sewing! ;)
