The blue buds multiply!

I am sure that those little blue buds multiply as you stitch them :o)

I am looking forward to seeing what Leanne decides to put in the
middle of these blocks.

It is a little hard to get it all in a picture now.

With only two blocks left and some finishing touches I am looking forward to the next issue of Vignette next week.

Enjoy your weekend,
hugs, Sharon

  1. Looking gorgeous Sharon!!! This is such an amazing quilt, I would be too scared to make it for fear that it would be ruined!! REALLY enjoying watching yours come together though! Keep up the good work - you'll be so proud of yourself once it's finished!!! Hugs!

  4. It looks fab, Sharon! And those blue buds.....they are perfect. I'm in awe.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the next issue or not.... ;o) I am looking forward to finishing this project - it's been a long, but enjoyable one.

Even though I'm a bit weary of embroidering bright cheerful flowers I think it's helped me formulate a new direction I want to go in with my embroidery/embellishment work. I've been deep into research on 'spiritcloth' 'slowcloth' travellers blanket' 'Japanese Boro' and other more freeform/freestyle stitching.

  5. How very sweet! I couldn't afford to continue purchasing Vignette in Stitches, and I'm so envious.

  10. Wow, your work is wonderful and it's really amazing seeing an entire quilt laid out like that. I have been away from my vignette for a long time now, have ordered the last 2 issues and am reading here for inspiration. I haven't touched any of the applique blocks yet, so I am a little daunted, but very inspired by your work. Thank you!
