The blue buds multiply!

I am sure that those little blue buds multiply as you stitch them :o)

I am looking forward to seeing what Leanne decides to put in the 

middle of these blocks.

It is a little hard to get it all in a picture now.

With only two blocks left and some finishing touches I am looking forward to the next issue of Vignette next week.

Blocks 6 and 7

I have been trying to get a little stitching done in between a few busy weekends. I had appliqued the flowers on blocks 6 and 7 of the Vignette quilt and then it took quite a while to add all the embroidery. 

Another finish - Block 16

I have managed to finish Block 16 on my Quilt

We are moving at the end of the week and

 I can't remember what box I packed blocks 10 and 11 in :)

Oh well, they will be waiting for me when we are in and unpacked.

A bit more progress

Some nights recently have been spend doing a little more on my

Vignette Mystery Quilt

I have now completed Block 13

and I have been making very ssllooowww progress on blocks 10 & 11

I have now started to work on block 16.

Birds from blocks 13 and 16

 I have been slowly stitching these little birds from the Vignette quilt. I suppose even a little stitching will help to get the quilt done!

The REAL quilt and a little progress

It was so inspiring to see Leanne's Vignette quilt at Urban stitching a few weeks ago. It really looked amazing.

I had been fiddling with fabrics for the centre of my quilt and finally put blocks 6 and 7 together and appliqued the edges. Might try and start on the applique today! I have been stitching the little bird blocks for the lower corner blocks too so am progressing......very slowly!
